Chatt.ie sure looks nice, seems quick and has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a random video chat site, except one thing, a user base, just needs a little exposure I guess.
On another note, it seems a lot of the sites I have yet to blog about seem to be very generic, I suspect if they were themed towards specific audiences and marketed towards them they would do a lot better.
Update: Chatt.ie sad to say seems to be no more.
I think you are spot on in your analysis in that almost all of these "chatroulette clones" would do much better off if they picked a specific target demographic and stuck with it. There is really no incentive for the end user to go to one of these websites unless they are banned from Chatroulette or Omegle.
