The Good
Shufflepeople has around 4000 people using it at any given time, it has both horizontal and vertical views, pretty fast, not a lot of hangs when nexting to the next person.
The Bad
As with most of the Chatroulette alternatives, there's no shortage of dicks. From time to time you also get a few repeats, people you nexted popping up again, which can be a little annoying.
Over all, Shufflepeople is a great Chatroulette alternative, I just don't understand why it's not more popular than it is.
Update: Shufflepeople.org no longer seems to offer video chat services.

Another one is Chatfe, which has no video (pervert problem averted) and is focused on voice, text and longer conversations.

ReplyDeleteBesides, how in the hell does wanting to have online sex make you a "perv"? Online sex doesn't make anyone a "perv" anymore than feeling the need to pick up some random person at a club every week makes someone a "perv". In fact, online sex is completely safe sex! Those of us who have sex online are not spreading disgusting diseases around like those of you who go out every weekend looking to swap body fluids with some random person.
People who feel the need to go out and get laid by a different person every few days are more sexually addicted and deviant than a person who is simply horny and wants to get a little exhibitionist online with other consenting adults who go to that same website of their own free will.
If wanting a sexual release makes one a "perv", then we are all "pervs". At least those of us who get that release online aren't spreading diseases around like you fluid swapping addicts.
